As a Partner at GMP Law, Richele brings 14 years of specialised experience in personal injury law, focusing on institutional abuse, public liability, and contested wills claims.
Richele joined the firm in 2010 after graduating from the University of Western Sydney with a combined degree in Law and Social Science, majoring in Criminology. Her criminology background has provided her with a deep understanding of societal structures, human behaviour, and the impact of systemic issues on individuals. This unique perspective enables her to approach each case with empathy and insight, particularly when representing clients facing complex and challenging situations. Richele’s empathy, combined with her determination and resilience, drives her to secure the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Richele was initially drawn to GMP Law because of its strong reputation for advocating on behalf of the underdog, which perfectly aligned with her passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of her clients. This commitment to securing fair and favourable results for those who have suffered injury or mistreatment has been central to her practice throughout her career.
Her drive for excellence was evident early on when she won the de Groots award for exceptional results in wills and succession law. This academic success set the stage for her continued professional growth, culminating in her accreditation as a Specialist in Personal Injury Law and her promotion to Partner at GMP Law in 2021.
Richele finds her work deeply rewarding, particularly in helping deserving clients achieve successful outcomes. She forms close, lasting relationships with her clients and takes great satisfaction in securing settlements that not only recognise their losses but also provide crucial support to help them rebuild their lives after the trauma of an accident or abuse.
Her passion for personal injury law is rooted in a desire to fight for individuals who are often at their lowest, unable to navigate the legal complexities on their own. Career highlights include achieving exceptional results for her clients, becoming a partner, and mentoring junior solicitors in institutional abuse matters – many of whom have since gone on to specialise in this area with the same dedication that Richele exemplifies.
Richele is admitted to the Supreme Court and is a member of the Law Society. Outside of work, she enjoys playing football and spending time with friends at the beach.
