Shishir Chaganti

Shishir is a Law Graduate at GMP Law’s Class Action Division. He graduated with an integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B Hons) from Jindal Global Law School, India, in 2022, and successfully graduated with the Master of Laws (LLM) degree from The University of Sydney in the same year. He is currently pursuing the Master of Business Laws (MBL) program from The University of Sydney. 

Prior to joining GMP Law, Shishir pursued legal internships in India and Oman where he had the opportunity to work across a range of Commercial, Criminal, Employment and Consumer law disputes.

He shares a keen interest in climate change laws and has written extensively on climate change litigation and the conflicts between international business and climate change regimes. 

Shishir joined the Class Actions Division of GMP Law in 2022 to develop his passion for dispute resolution. He is guided by the mentorship of Mr Matthew Lo, Special Counsel at the firm. 

Outside of work, Shishir is an avid Cricket and Tennis fan and enjoys spending his time playing Chess and exploring the outdoors.
