Recep graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Advanced Business Leadership) with Distinction.
While at university, Recep had the opportunity of studying at Shanghai University on New Colombo Plan Exchange. He also represented Australia at the G200 Youth Forum in Dubai and attended a University Scholars Symposium at the United Nations in Bangkok.
These experiences challenged Recep to travel outside of his comfort zone. His can do attitude has assisted him to develop his legal skills and experiences.
Prior to joining the firm, Recep was working in Remediation and Risk Consulting at a ‘Big 4’ firm which enabled him to develop analytical skills. However, he has always been interested in the Law of Negligence. He believes people deserve to be compensated when a duty of care is breached resulting in them suffering injuries and disabilities.
Recep joined the firm’s Medical Negligence and Public Liability team in February 2020 under the supervision of Antonin Sebesta. He assists with various legal disputes including drafting court documents and letters of instruction.
Recep is fluent in Turkish.
