63 Year Old Man From Northern Sydney Compensated After Fall At Local Supermarket

In this matter, we acted for a client who suffered injuries after slipping and falling in the fresh produce area of his local supermarket on what he later discovered to be to vegetable scraps left on the floor. As a result of the fall, our client fell heavily to the floor and suffered soft tissue injuries to his right shoulder and left knee.

The purpose of this report was to provide a diagnosis of our client’s injuries and disabilities as well as a prognosis outlining the extent that his compensable injuries will impact upon his future, including ongoing treatment and domestic care and assistance requirements.

Upon completion of the service of our client’s medical and liability expert evidence, we were in a position to invite the Defendant to participate in an Informal Settlement Conference. After extensive negotiations at the settlement conference and ongoing offers over the course of the following week, we were able to successfully negotiate a fair and just outcome for our client and resolve his claim.
