Planning for tired drivers with a cup of Joe

The New South Wales government has just announced that they are partnering with Toll Group to deliver the Driver Reviver program. However, the drive to push down the state's road toll won't come through normal means.

Car accidents can lead to major injuries, putting considerable pressure on your financial and emotional state. Accident compensation can ensure you don't have debt hanging over your head.

Biscuits, coffee and tea

The iconic safety program, that is world-renowned for its intense adverts, is now taking a different approach. The program will see close to 80 Driver Reviver rest stops offering passing motorists a place to stop during the school holidays and long weekend.

The stops will be stocked with tea, biscuits and coffee to ensure that drivers stick around. Toll Group will provide monetary support for the program as well as for the volunteers and marketing.

Minister for Roads Duncan Gay pointed out that the new program comes at a time when fatigue is a growing issue.

"Fatigue is an issue because it can be as dangerous as getting behind the wheel on the drink; being awake for 17 hours affects your driving like a blood alcohol level of more than the legal limit."

Road accidents demand compensation

While it always takes two to tango, some parties are more responsible than others. When it comes to car accidents, this can mean the difference between securing compensation and paying it.

If you have been injured due to the negligence of another party, make sure you talk to the experts in car accident compensation. A financial settlement can make the difference in your life, by providing you with the cash you need to cover the bills. Whether it's expensive medical costs or normal bills outstanding because you're off work, compensation can tie up loose ends.

When it comes to finding the right lawyer, look no further than the compensation solicitors at Gerard Malouf and Partners Compensation, Medical negligence and Will dispute lawyers. Not only do we have more than 35 years experience in the courtroom, we also have a no win no fee policy.

Rather than seek remuneration from large upfront costs, we receive payment through the successful settlement. What this means is that if your case is unsuccessful, our lawyers do not get paid.
