Shalyn graduated from Deakin University in Victoria with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology in 2019. Whilst in the process of completing her studies, she was eager to commence her career in the legal profession and therefore took on a full time role as a paralegal and worked in various practice areas including Civil Litigation, Property Law, Wills and Estates and Commercial Law. Following this role, she went onto work for the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office and worked in Public Law and assisted in various legal work related to the Royal Commissions in 2019 and 2020.
Once Shalyn was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in 2020, she made the move to New South Wales to commence her role at Gerard Malouf and Partners, pursue her passion of advocating for her clients and to build her career in personal injury law.
Shalyn works across various practice areas at Gerard Malouf and Partners including Medical Negligence, Public Liability and Comcare. She prides herself in ensuring her clients are heard and is always determined to try and achieve the best result possible for her clients.
In her spare time, Shalyn enjoys spending time with her nephews, playing netball and exploring New South Wales.
