Franjo completed his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University in December 2016. He then completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and Certificate of Legal Business Skills from the College of Law in April 2017 and was admitted as a solicitor in May 2017.
In terms of experience, Franjo spent time with the Public Interest Advocacy Centre and was exposed to a wide variety of clients, with a wide variety of expectations and needs. Following this, he spent almost a year working in personal injury compensation as part of his Practical Legal Training.
Franjo began employment at Gerard Malouf & Partners not long after being admitted as a solicitor. He was placed into the medical negligence team and has enjoyed the challenges he has faced, always being eager to learn more and to broaden his skills and expertise – not solely in a legal sense, but also in a more holistic sense. Franjo believes in developing strong relationships with clients and is always happy to offer them his time. He also believes that even something as simple as showing understanding and sympathy is a crucial factor in fostering and developing such a relationship.
Franjo’s hobbies include football, driving nice cars, and learning new things. He is currently learning German in his spare time. He is passionate about medical issues and participates in a charity run every year to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Australia in their fight against dementia.
Franjo speaks fluent Croatian should you have difficulty with English.
