Elika completed her studies at Macquarie University, graduating in September 2019 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Criminology. Later that year, she was admitted as a lawyer into the Supreme Court of New South Wales. In November 2021, Elika joined the GMP Law Medical Negligence and Sexual Abuse team.
Prior to joining GMP Law, Elika worked as a social justice solicitor for a not-for-profit human rights organisation that specialised in strategic litigation against powerful and well-resourced opponents like the Australian Government. She assisted disenfranchised communities, including First Nations Peoples in complex personal injury proceedings and was part of the legal team that successfully secured the transfer of many vulnerable refugees from offshore detention to Australia for urgent and lifesaving medical treatment.
Elika wishes to expand her expertise into other areas of the law and is passionate about providing client-centred services that focus on achieving justice and equitable outcomes on behalf of injured clients.
