Marina Clayton  -  Compensation Lawyer

A man by the name of Steven Keeva once said: Law is one of the great healing professions. While medicine heals the body and the clergy heals the soul, the law heals societal rifts

About Marina

Marina completed her Juris Doctor, postgraduate law degree, at Macquarie University, with a specialisation in Corporate and Commercial Law. However, she opted to begin her legal career at a firm concerned with social justice and upholding moral responsibility by obtaining a position as a graduate solicitor at Gerard Malouf and Partners.

Her undergraduate degree with honours, a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Criminal Justice and Justice Studies from Charles Sturt University, along with completing volunteer work at Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) in Bathurst has equipped Marina with unique skillset in assisting vulnerable and disadvantage clients.

At present, Marina is under the guidance of two excellent compensation lawyers, Rita Furfaro and Richele Nelsen, in the areas of Motor Vehicle Accident, Public Liability, Contesting Wills and Sexual Assault. Under the instruction of these lawyers she will successfully expand her knowledge, skills and experience in personal injury law and aims to be an expert in the field within the next 5 years.

She understands the importance of truly listening to clients in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the client as well as one that is meaningful to them. This coupled with her sincere empathy towards people and desire to go over and beyond leaves clients feeling very satisfied with their experience at Gerard Malouf and Partners.

When Marina is not working she enjoys trips to Bathurst to see her family and undertaking her favourite pastime of painting and drawing.
