Hilary Lee - Compensation Lawyer
Originally from Canada, Hilary attained a Bachelor of Arts specialising in Political Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2013. During the completion of this degree, she had the opportunity to study in both Canada and England before making the decision to move to Australia in order to pursue her legal studies. In 2016, Hilary attained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Newcastle and was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2017.
Throughout the course of her legal studies, Hilary gained invaluable experience by volunteering at a local community centre which focused on providing equitable and accessible legal services to everyone in need, regardless of their socio-economic status.
Hilary has also worked extensively in the area of historical child sexual abuse. It was in this position where she solidified her passion in seeking justice for those affected by these types of truly horrific and unthinkable circumstances.
Since commencing at Gerard Malouf and Partners in late 2016, Hilary has gained experience in many areas of compensation law including motor vehicle accidents, public liability, medical negligence, contested wills, and sexual assault.
With the ongoing support and guidance from our senior solicitors, Hilary is confident she will continue to expand her knowledge and practical skills in order to seek the best outcome for each and every client.
