Christine Beshay - Senior Associate Compensation Lawyer
After receiving a degree in Psychology in 1998 from University of Sydney, Christine went on to successfully complete a Bachelor of Law, graduating in 2001. Studying human behaviour has given Christine a greater sense of empathy when working with her clients. She understands the pain associated with loss and the importance of communicating effectively with her clients. Seeing her clients being compensated gives Christine a great sense of satisfaction as she continues to deal with each case on a personal and determined manner.
Christine’s strengths are her abilities to listen to her client’s needs and wants and then, realistically, analyse what can be achieved, within the constraints of the legal process, and convey this in a way that can be understood by her client’s.
Christine’s clients are mainly clients who have suffered as a result of medical negligence caused by doctors and/or treatment providers. Christine practises exclusively in medical law, particularly in cases involving labour and birth. She is a recognised expert in her area and has Personal Injury Specialist Accreditation from the Law Society of NSW.
Christine enjoys the diversity of her work as well as the problem solving nature of her practice. Christine regularly attends intensive and ongoing training in her areas of experience to ensure she is up to date with all legislative changes and case law.
